If you start today and want success tomorrow, you’re wasting your time.
If those are your expectations, there are two things coming to your front door tomorrow; the mailman and disappointment.
I’ve said it COUNTLESS times, there is no such thing as overnight success.
But, if you’re willing to be persistent and put in the time; starting a blog can and will bring you MASSIVE success.
I read somewhere the other day that blogging is dead.
I immediately knew one thing about the author, they never owned a successful blog.
What was my first thought when I read the “Blogging is dead” sentence?
“What an idiot”.
I’m no one to judge someone’s opinion, but when a false claim is made, which could potentially demotivate MANY rookie bloggers; I can’t help but respond negatively.
Blogging is not dead my friend, it is very much alive.
The only people that blogging is dead for are the same people who start a blog today, hoping to make 100k in a month and quit when it doesn’t happen.
Is it even possible to make that much money with a blog?
Trust me when I say that, yes it’s extremely possible if you do things right.
I strongly believe that blogging will never be dead.
I see it as a new born baby who’s growing BIGGER every day.
So, what makes a successful blog?
A big audience, quality content, traffic and sales.
How do you achieve all of the above?
Patience and loyalty are scarce personality traits on the internet.
Without patience, you won’t build a successful blog; it simply isn’t possible.
Without a successful blog, you won’t attract loyal readers.
Think about it, you’re asking people who’ve NEVER MET YOU IN PERSON to trust your advice and buy from you.
The bad news?
It’s not easy.
The good news?
It’s 100% possible if you’re honest and patient.
When I started this blog in 2014, there were five other bloggers who started the journey with me.
If you take a look at my older articles, you’ll see their comments.
Out of all of us, I’m the only one who’s still here 3 years later.
If you click on their names above their comments, you’ll notice they all have one thing in common; an abandoned website.
Well I can’t speak for anyone, but I can tell you why I’m still here, patience and self-belief.
My blog is a success MONSTER compared to what it was 3 years ago.
Inertia Will Hurt Ya started as a baby, but I fed it so much quality food (articles) that it’s grown into a success warrior.
You want blogging success?
Great, do exactly what I do; publish quality content and be patient.
I have news for you, your success is coming whether you like it or not.
There’s a set date for its arrival.
The question is, will you be there when it arrives?
…Or will your blog be another abandoned domain name in the blogging junk yard?
Choose wisely my friend.
How long will my blog live?
