The Power of Neuroplasticity Review
“You are creating at this very moment the person you’re going to become tomorrow; and you are physically wiring that person into your brain.”
That quote was the very first thing I read in chapter one.
It was the most intriguing and exciting fact I had read in a LONG time.
What if you were told that you could completely change your brain and become the person you always dreamed of?
Would you believe it?
If you were given steps on how to do it, would you follow them?
Or would it seem like a false promise that would never work?
Do you believe that changing the person you are isn’t possible?
Are you the type of person who needs scientific evidence in order to believe something?
Well guess what, my friend…
Science has discovered that you can in fact rewire your brain and change who you are!
…and this book shows you exactly how to do it!
I’m a big fan of learning how the brain works and how to program myself to be a better, more productive person.
I have studied personal growth and development for years.
I had read Shad Helmstetter first book What to Say When You Talk to Yourself, and got a lot of value from it.
It thought me the power of self-talk and how to be conscious of things I say to myself.
However, he has truly outdone himself with this book..
He shows you everything from his first book and more.
With his up to date research and examples, you truly receive massive value from The Power of Neuroplasticity.
The book gives you a great understanding on how you program yourself, either consciously or unconsciously.
When the book The Secret was released, it explained that your thoughts are powerful and shape your life.
Though the book is an important and interesting read, it doesn’t quite explain HOW it works.
It gives you a pretty good idea, but I’m someone that likes a step-by-step approach to things.
I need to understand exactly how and why something works.
“Neuroplasticity: Big Word, Beautiful Meaning”
The Power of Neuroplasticity by Shad Helmstetter is a masterpiece.
This enjoyable but informative book takes you on a ride as it teaches you how to program your brain.
Every second, of every minute, of every day, you’re wiring your brain.
Every thought, everything you see, hear, taste, feel; it’s ALL getting wired into your brain!
All of these things are responsible for who you are and continue to become as a person.
Your level of success, your attitude, personality, how you respond to criticism, how you treat others…
And on and on…
Everything!
It all has to do with what you have wired into your brain!
…and the best part is that you can change any negative thoughts or beliefs about yourself!
The Programs you Get From The World Around You
Shad Helmstetter speaks on the importance of the things and people you surround yourself with.
Imagine your brain as a sponge that sucks up every single thing you’re exposed to.
The things people around you say, the TV shows you watch, the music you listen to.
It all programs you in either a positive or negative way!
You have to consciously choose and be careful what you allow your mind to see, hear, and feel.
You might be programming your mind with negative beliefs and emotions, and not even know it!
Here’s an amazing video I found that actually shows how thoughts (neuroconnections) are formed in your brain.

As you can see, this stuff is REAL!
Your thoughts are literally shaping who you are becoming!
You MUST take control and learn how to do this.
Taking Control of Your Programs
Whatever is repeated the most becomes the strongest belief or thought in your mind.
It’s what determines who you are and who you will become.
Repeat over and over that you’re successful, and that’s what your mind will lead you to.
Repeat that you’re a failure, overweight, depressed; and that’s exactly what you’ll get.
This book PROVES that no matter what you know, what you have gone through, or what you believe; you can change yourself!
It’s a must read for all high school students, in my opinion.
I’m not exaggerating here.
I finished the book in one night.
It was about 2 1/2 hours of drinking coffee and turning pages.
I couldn’t put it down!
Shad Helmstetter does an amazing job at communicating things clearly.
He gives you step by step exercises to change and program your brain.
After reading this book, you’ll quickly become aware of how you’re either helping or hurting yourself with things you repeat to yourself daily.
The Brain that Changes Every Day
The craziest part is that we are not even aware of the things we say to ourselves.
Most of our thoughts are unconscious!
We have repeated them for so long that they have become a habit.
A habit of negative thoughts is a dangerous thing.
It can go on and affect the rest of your life if not removed.
…but YOU have to manually remove it.
It’s really not that hard.
Right now, you are becoming more and more of the person that your thoughts are telling you to become.
If your feel that you have negative thoughts or attitudes at the moment, don’t worry.
You’ll learn how to identify and replace them with good ones.
Most people go their whole lives without changing.
They want to be a certain way, but lose hope because they just don’t know how to change.
Little do they know that this little 290 page book would be the answer.
A 31-Day Way to Change Your Brain
Shad Hemstetter provides an exercise in Chapter 25 that helps you program your brain the way you want.
With his clear and direct writing, it feels like you’re having a personal one on one coaching session.
As mentioned, this book is based on science and proves that the techniques inside literally change your brain.
…If you follow them!
I cannot recommend this book enough.
It’s really that good!
You need to read and learn how to become the person you’ve always wanted.
I already had a pretty good understanding on how the mind is programmed.
However, this book answered A LOT of questions and concerns I had.
The exercises alone are incredible.
I honestly believe in my heart that if the whole world read this book, everyone would change for the better.
Besides helping you change your brain, it helps you understand why most act the way they do.
Since reading it, I feel like I know a lot more about a person within minutes of talking to them.
You quickly pick up on their programming.
The Power of Neuroplasticy will go in the vault with all the other self-help classics.
I know it!
Make sure you share it with your friends and family after you’re done reading it.
Read this book!
