During my time working online, I’ve seen MANY false promises all over the internet.
…And I get it.
I know why marketers do and say the things they do.
Quick results are what sells.
People lack patience and don’t want to work hard.
Well, guess what?
I got news for you my friend…
Everything worth having will require work on your part.
Notice I said “work” and not “hard work”.
There’s no hard work.
Just do what you need to do and the work will be easy.
However, easy doesn’t mean results will come immediately.
Easy means you’ll be on the right path and arrive at your destination if you don’t quit.
So you have two choices:
1) Call me the bad guy who ruined the dream of “Becoming successful overnight”
2) Thank me for informing you there’s no such thing as overnight success and avoiding you a rude awakening
Inertia Will Hurt Ya is all about being authentic, informative, and giving you no B.S. advice.
I don’t approve of “false promises.”
And I rather go straight to Hostgator and tell them to destroy my website before I make my readers a false promise.
With that said, let’s get right into the purpose of this article.
Here are the 3 things successful people won’t tell you:
1) It takes time
Successful people know how much time and effort goes into achieving anything.
They also know why they are succesful and others aren’t.
It’s due to one special quality they possess: Great work ethic
Not many people have this quality.
If everyone did, everyone would be successful, right?
The reality is that many people don’t want to work for what they want.
[bctt tweet=”The reality is that many people don’t want to work for what they want.”]
They fantasize about a product that will do all the hard work for them once they buy it.
Well, I’m here to tell you to STOP fantasizing.
Sure, you can buy things that will help you, but nothing will bring you overnight results.
However, if you are persistent and do the work, your results will come.
All that separates successful people from non-successful people is commitment, effort, and discipline.
That’s it!
Successful people learn what they need to learn and apply it.
Do the work and the results appear.
End of story.
“You’re probably one skill away from doubling your income”
– Brian Tracy
2) Doing the work
Again, the work isn’t hard, it just takes time to complete.
When attempting to achieve a goal, you have to apply time and effort.
The concept “hard work” scares the hell out of people.
However, rest assured the work isn’t hard, but that you’ll have to do it.
You’ll have to sacrifice in other areas of your life and put in the TIME.
“I knew that for me to be the greatest, it would require sacrifice and time away from my family”
– Kobe Bryant (Muse Documentary)
Successful people know how hard it is to convince others to sacrifice and work for a goal.
[bctt tweet=”Successful people know how hard it is to convince others to sacrifice and work for a goal.”]
So hard in fact they won’t even try.
Well, I’m giving you the truth and hopefully convince you.
You need to do the work.
And if you’re not ready to do the work, then you’re not ready for what you say you want.
3) No short-cuts
There are no short-cuts to success.
However, this idea is one that sells magnificently.
“Buy this product and skip all the hard work with the tips and tricks I’ve discovered.”
A line like that is a POWERFUL money maker.
But can you guess what else that line is?
Complete B.S.!
Success is one long 2-way road.
You can either keep going, or stop, turn around, and return to where you came from.
But if you keep going…trust me when I tell you this…it’s damn worth it!
You’ve heard it all your life how you can achieve anything you put your mind to…
Guess what?
It’s 100% true.
But what they leave out, what they don’t tell you, is that it’ll take time, commitment, determination, and sacrifice.
So now I ask you…
Is what YOU want worth all of that?
Will your life be better than it is right now if you actually put in the time, commitment, determination and sacrifice?
If you answered “YES”, then I have one more question for you…
What are you waiting for?
We’ll talk again soon,
