How Real Men Push Through Fear and Take Whatever They Want in Life
“In life, it’s not what you want. It’s not what you deserve. It’s what you TAKE.”
I remember the first time I heard that quote.
It changed me.
It developed an appetite for success that turned me into a lion on the prowl.
…And boy was I hungry.
When you want something, you have to do whatever necessary to take it
And when it comes to success, you can bet your ass that no one is going to give it you.
You have to go and get it.
In the process, you’ll encounter moments of doubt, fear, and uncertainty.
And it’s right here where the boys are separated from the men.
It’s right here where you either complain or quit; or where you smile and push through knowing that you’re going to achieve what most people don’t have the will to.
No one is going to just hand you anything worth having.
You need to figure out how to take it
Success, real success, cannot be bought.
It is earned through persistence, effort, and time.
But the fears and doubts will always pop up.
“This is taking longer than I expected. What if I’m wasting my time?”
‘”What if I never figure out how to do this?”
‘”What if this isn’t for me?”
“I don’t know where to start and it’ll take way too much time to learn and discover what’s necessary.”
STOP.
You’re wasting precious time making excuses.
Anyone who’s serious about their success can take it.
And how do you take it?
You go and do what no one else does.
For example, when I was new to blogging, I read every book on the topic, I emailed other bloggers, I commented on other blogs, I learned and applied many different things, and most importantly, I didn’t quit.
How many new bloggers do you think do all of the above when they begin?
Not many.
Most bloggers start, write a few articles, and quit.
I’ve mentioned how I’ve seen it happen over and over.
In the featured image for this article, you see a character named Ray.
Ray’s a Hollywood fixer in the show Ray Donovan.
He is the one that everyone depends on to make their problems disappear.
His clients include athletes, musicians, business people, actors, and so on.
Ray doesn’t care who you are or what you do, all he cares about is fixing your problem.
After all, that’s his job.
He doesn’t always have the most legitimate style of finding solutions to problems.
…But that’s not the point.
It’s a TV show, not real life.
What’s important is that you follow his same concept.
If there’s a problem, you fix it.
When you begin your business venture, you’re going to encounter a few problems.
You’re not going to know how to do many things.
You’re going to get bored and tired.
You’re going to feel like quitting.
But if you act and behave like Ray, you won’t complain or give excuses.
Instead, you’ll keep your cool and focus solely on the solution.
…And you won’t quit until you figure out how to fix each and every problem you encounter.
What makes him a successful Hollywood fixer is that he takes his success.
No matter how stressful or difficult a situation is, he ALWAYS finds a solution.
He doesn’t just quit and tell a client “I can’t fix this”.
What will make you successful?
Taking your success in whatever business venture you choose.
You’re tired? Push through and take your success anyways.
You’re bored? Push through and take your success anyways.
You have fear, doubts, and uncertainties? Push through and take your success anyway.
When I wanted to start blogging, I didn’t know what in the world WordPress was.
…But I took my success by learning what it was and how to use it.
When I wanted to write my own eBooks and sell them, I had no idea where to start, how to create the sales page, how to setup the payment processor, or where to upload the book.
…But I took my success by learning how to do all the above.
So what are you going to do?
Are you going to complain and quit?
Or are you going to find solutions to problems and take your success?
Success doesn’t just come and find you.
…You have to go get it.
