5 Items I’ve Used Daily The Last 5 Years
I’ve tried many things for different purposes over the last 5 years.
Some things were great but I didn’t feel as if I needed to use them daily.
Other things didn’t really do anything.
And some things were so effective that I wouldn’t dare go a day without them.
Here are those 5 items.
1) Zinc
If you’re a man and are deficient in Zinc, you could be in for a rude awakening.
Zinc is one of the vital components for the building blocks of testosterone.
It works by blocking “aromatase” in your body which reduces the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.
A side benefit most men experience is harder erections and increased semen volume.
The average guy may think “Well, I take a multi-vitamin and/or get plenty of Zinc through my diet”.
The reality is that you probably don’t.
Zinc is loss through exercise, especially if you lift weights.
I take 50mg daily before bed without fail to ensure I’m never deficient.
Make sure you get Zinc Picolinate which is the kind most easily absorbed by the body.
I buy this one from Amazon.
2) Baby Powder
No matter who you are, where you live, or what you do; your body is going to sweat.
In order to stay as fresh and comfortable as possible throughout the day; baby powder is a MUST!
I pour it into my shoes and on dab some on my feet.
The result?
My feet are always dry and odorless.
Baby powder is also great for your “man area”.
I wrote an article explaining the benefits called Stinky manhood? Just do this.
All you need to do is pour a decent amount in your hand and pat yourself under your scrotum area.
Not only will you feel and smell better; but your girlfriend will thank you.
A bottle of baby bottle is dirt cheap and lasts a long time.
It’s worth every single penny for the comfort and freshness it provides.
3) Exfoliating Body gloves
The whole soap to skin thing isn’t effective.
Sure, you probably smell good and feel fresh, but in order to wash away dead skin and prevent acne; you need to exfoliate your skin.
Don’t worry, exfoliating gloves won’t makes you less of a man. (Ha-ha)
You simply put them on, rub your soap bar or body wash on them, and scrub all over your body the same way you’d normally do with the soap to skin method.
You can feel the difference instantly when you start using them.
These are also incredibly cheap and can be found at your local store in the bath and body department.
I recommend replacing them every couple of months since you’re scrubbing dead skin off your body.
I personally use these since they work best from all the others I’ve tried.
4) Tongue scraper
Sure, you have to brush and floss daily, no surprise there.
But if you’re not properly cleaning your tongue, you’re one BIG nasty mistake.
They say that approximately 90% of bad breath comes from your tongue since it acts as a big sponge collecting bits of everything you eat and drink.
What do you think happens to any food residue that sticks to your tongue and stays there for days or months?
Yes, I know…it’s disgusting.
A tongue scraper doesn’t cause you any pain.
You simply stick it as far back in your mouth as possible and gently pull forward.
You might be a little disgusted the first time you use it and remove the layer of crap you didn’t even know you had.
I use this one every single time I brush my teeth.
5) Journal
Every day and night, I write in my journal.
Whatever you put on paper becomes real.
In this article I talk about how every goal I’ve written has come into my life.
Besides the benefit of turning your goals into reality; writing is therapeutic and good for the mind.
It allows you to reflect on where you are in life and most importantly where you’re going.
You don’t an ultra-fancy overpriced journal people try to sell you.
Just get yourself a basic composition notebook for less than $3.
What matters is that you write daily, not how cool your notebook looks.
The End
So there you have it – 5 items I’ve used daily the last 5 years.
I see no reason as to why I wouldn’t use them for the rest of my life.
Give them all a try if you’re not doing so already.
I guarantee you’ll make them part of your daily routine as well.
Talk soon,
-Alex
