Are You Ready to Pay The Price of Success?
So you want to be successful?
I’m sure you do.
After all, who doesn’t?
However, my question to you: Are you ready to pay the price of success?
Success isn’t hard or impossible.
However, if you really want it, the price you’ll have to pay are these 4 principles:
- Patience
- Effort
- Persistence
- Attitude
If you follow these principles, you’ll get it.
It’ll come to you.
It’s impossible for it not to.
But quit just one of these principles or skip them constantly and you’ll get nothing.
Let’s go into detail about what each of these principles mean and how to do them.
Patience
“I want it now!!!”
The famous attitude for all the people who are new on the road to success.
They seek shortcuts, they try to move faster, and they lose patience.
Do these three things long enough and you’re bound to crash on success road.
…And once you crash, your vehicle is stopped and you’re no longer making progress.
Instead of trying to make things happen quicker, you need to understand and accept that it doesn’t happen overnight.
Instead, what you do is work every day towards your goal and just know and believe that eventually you’ll get what you want.
That’s it.
If you can’t accept that it takes long and that you need to be patient; don’t even start.
If you think you’re one of the lucky few who will figure it out quickly, you won’t.
You’re setting yourself up for disappointment.
I see it happen all the time.
People who work for a month, two months, six months towards their goals and then quit.
The bigger the goal, the longer it takes.
I just wrote an article 5 Steps to Make a Million Dollars Online in 5 Years.
That’s right, five years.
Not one, not two, not three or four.
A million dollars is a HUGE goal.
But you can bet that it won’t happen overnight or without following the principles in this article.
Effort
Some people set a goal and work at it once or twice a week.
Guess what?
That’s isn’t going to work, my friend.
If you’re really serious about your success and accomplishing a goal, you’ll need to work and make effort daily.
Goals are accomplished through consistent effort.
Daily effort is the price you pay to get the things most people wish they had.
It’s that simple.
Make it a habit to do the things unsuccessful people don’t do.

Persistence
What is the real reason most people don’t achieve success?
Is it that they don’t know how?
No.
No one is born knowing how to do anything.
But guess what?
Those who are persistent eventually figure out how.
When you’re a baby, you’re persistent at attempting to walk.
Then one day out of nowhere you’re walking, running, and jumping around the house.
It’s the same with success.
If you’re persistent at attempting to achieve a goal, eventually you’ll get it.
But quit and you’ll get nothing.
There is absolutely NO WAY for you not to be successful if you’re persistent.
After all, how can you fail if you don’t quit?
It simply isn’t possible.
If you come to me and say “Hey Alex, I failed.”
I’ll look at you and respond “No, you quit.”
Attitude
I was watching an interview the other day with hall of fame coach, Jimmy Johnson.
What a magnificent person Jimmy is.
I learned so much about the man in just 30 minutes.
He explained how there are many things in life we have no control over but two things we can control are our attitude and effort.
He gave this example because he coached many young players who were talented and came from broken homes and bad upbringings.
He explained how your background doesn’t matter, it’s what you do TODAY that determines your level of success tomorrow.
Knowing this, he focused on helping his players maintain a positive attitude.
He would motivate them to work harder and only focus on the next game.
In Jimmy’s own words, with the right attitude and effort, you’ll make progress.
Attitude all comes down to how you react to situations.
When you face hard times during your trip on success road, do you get mad and demotivated?
Do you allow setbacks to stop you from making progress?
Or do you remind yourself that it’s part of the process and persist with effort?
Things will get hard, you can count on it that they will.
However, the beauty of things getting hard is that it’s a clear sign that success is around the corner.
Learn to welcome hard times because when they arrive, you’ll have proof that success is on its way to you.
These principles are the price of success.
And when it comes down to achieving something that will affect your life in a positive way, you have to agree that this price is a bargain.
Talk soon,
-Alex
