I watched Sully the other day.
What a fantastic movie!
Tom Hanks never disappoints with his performances.
The movie is based on a true story about a plane that had to do an emergency water landing due to engine failure.
The engine failure was caused by birds that flew into the engines.
Both the birds and the engines were instantly killed.
The pilot, Sully, performed what I consider a MIRACLE!
He landed the plane in the Hudson river.
But that wasn’t exactly the miracle.
The miracle was that every passenger survived.
I won’t give away too much about the movie.
Just watch it if you haven’t.
After watching the movie, I was intrigued about the event and watched a couple videos about it on YouTube.
One of those videos featured a survivor who said something along the lines of “Now I live everyday like if it were on purpose. I’m grateful for surviving”.
While this is a great story, I disagree with the person waiting until that moment before living life.
And this is what most people do.
They do enough just to get by each day.
They settle for less instead of working for more!
They lie to themselves and claim they’re “happy”.
While you should be grateful for what you already have and express gratitude for it daily, you should NEVER settle.
With as short as life is, make sure you get the BEST out of it!
You don’t have to be rich, have a helicopter, a mansion or a yacht.
But you should:
- Get into the best physical shape of your life
- Travel and see all the beautiful places in the world
- Discipline yourself to do the things you need to do in order to get the results you want
- Push yourself out of your comfort zone so you can consistently experience happiness for new achievements
- Always seek the next level (financially, physically and mentally)
Discipline is the missing key to getting whatever you want in life.
Don’t settle.
Work.
Achieve.
Live life.
Repeat.

Funny was having a similar conversation with my wife. A relative of hers died suddenly, was excited about retiring so he can finally live. Now he never will. We can be taken in a second, time to prioritize the important things.
