I recently adopted a Carnivore diet lifestyle and have never felt better in my life.
My energy, focus and quality of sleep have improved DRAMATICALLY.
Fat is melting off my body faster than ever.
Before starting the Carnivore diet, I admit I had my doubts.
Does it work?
How is it different from any other diet?
Is it healthy?
What about fiber and cholesterol?
Even after starting the Carnivore diet and beginning to feel great, I still had my doubts.
It wasn’t until I read “Eat Bacon, Don’t Jog” that all my doubts vanished.
Everything instantly made sense.
What an incredible, fun and easy book to read.
It’s JAM-PACKED with amazing facts and ideas about the Carnivore diet.
I began by reading the free sample that Kindle provides you on Amazon. (as I do with every book)
I was instantly motivated to buy it immediately.

Here are a couple of the great things I learned.
The reason why people are overweight is no secret
You probably think that the reason why people are overweight is because they eat too much.
Wrong.
Sure, eating less might prevent people from gaining fat.
But eating too much isn’t the REAL reason people are getting fatter and fatter as the years go by.
Grains are cheap to store and profitable
Grains are incredibly easy to manufacture and have a long shelf life.
This makes them very profitable.
The problem?
Grains are TERRIBLE for your health and are one of the main reasons you gain and stay overweight.
The more grains are sold, the more fat people get sick and the more medicine is sold.
The sales of grains and medicine bring in BILLIONS of dollars in annual sales to companies who sell them.
Are you seeing the evil cycle?
Exercising (especially jogging) can literally make you fat
This is by far one the best discoveries I’ve made.
If you’re going to read ONE thing in this book, make it this.
I can confidently say that I will never jog again.
I’ll walk and ride my bicycle at a slow pace, but you wont’ catch me jogging anytime soon.
Calories have nothing to do with weight loss (Yes, REALLY!)
I mentioned in my book “Demon Diet” the role that insulin plays in both gaining and losing fat.
Inside “Eat Bacon, Don’t Jog”, the author goes into detail on the science of why calories are pointless when it comes to fat loss.
There are much bigger things to worry about.
The reason you’re always hungry isn’t why you think
You’re not hungry because you have a big appetite.
You’re not hungry due to genetics.
You’re not hungry because you have some sort of disorder.
You’re hungry because you don’t allow your body to feed off its own fat!
Don’t worry, that will make sense when you’re done reading the book.
Grains and carbohydrates are slowly but surely killing you
Sickness and a TON of weight gain are in your future if you continue to eat grains.
They’re easy to overeat because they don’t fill you up.
They also instantly kick your body out of fat-burning mode and keep you out of it for HOURS!
How to eat great without spending so much money
If you’re worried that you’ll spend a ton of money on the Carnivore diet, guess again.
The author provides many delicious meal examples that are less than $5.
Just because grains are cheap doesn’t mean you need to eat them.
You can eat great, lose weight and get healthy all at a low cost.
Conclusion
I wish I could share much more with you about this fantastic book, but I don’t want to give away too much.
It would be injustice to author.
If you think those were some great insights that I shared above, you’re in for much, MUCH more, my friend.
For less than $9, this book is a steal.
I never do a book review unless I’m very impressed.
Furthermore, I never share it with my readers unless I know that it will also impress them because my integrity and the success of this blog is my #1 priority.
When it comes to “Eat Bacon, Don’t Jog”, I have ZERO doubts that you won’t be impressed with the TON of value and knowledge the author provides.
Enjoy!

Very good review on this book perhaps you can have a read on a book called “Caffeine Blues” it has put me off coffee full stop i am weaning myself off it as I consumed about 8 cups a day.
I don’t think the odd cup is going to do you harm once a day maybe but that’s it. Its a very powerful stimulate over a long time period
Once you are on a clean diet you will have all the energy you need to get through the day without anything else.
(Grains, Sugar and coffee/Caffeine legal drugs that should be banned)

Hey Aleks,
I’ve tried a strict carnivore diet and loved it. Reading research on common carnivore diets, most experts recommend sticking to red meat mainly, as it’s more nutritious. I also add in fiber rich avocados cause I can’t get past the idea our body needs fiber to protect our gut.

Hey Alex,
Keep it up with the blog. For a long time, I didn’t think making a blog was for me, but your site has definitely encouraged me to pursue blogging. It can be a cornerstone to a lot of things. Just gotta put in the work.
My question is about the Carnivore diet. I’ve seen a few people who go on it explain vegetables are rough on digestion.
Would that be your only criticism of veg?
I juice my vegetables raw so that I get all the nutrients and so it doesn’t tax the digestive system. It’s a good way to double or even triple your “five a day”. Juicing beets and pomegranates is awesome for circulation for instance.

Thanks D.G. You make a good point about juicing your vegetables so that it doesn’t tax your digestive system. However, they still contain a lot of fiber which can cause bloating and discomfort to most people. I find that I have no problems with digestion on the Carnivore diet and feel amazing.
