I have spent a fair amount of money on fat burners.
Like most people, anything that convinces me it’ll SPEED up my weight-loss will catch my attention.
Fat burners always give me the extra energy to go workout, especially on days when I really don’t want to.
When I take them,I have so much energy that I just can’t sit still.
Whether its working out, doing things around the house, or walking the dog a little longer than usual.
Fat burners just get me going!
I typically pay $25-$50 for a bottle of fat burners, which usually contains 120 pills (about a months supply).
Asides from giving me extra energy to workout, my focus while on fat burners is great.
I feel more motivated and tuned in at work throughout the day.
However, not the whole experience is positive.
I have moments where I feel jittery, slightly paranoid, and experience an increase in heart rate.
Fat Burners contain A LOT of caffeine.
A typical cup of coffee has about 200mg of caffeine.
Each fat burning pill usually has 200mg of caffeine as well.
Around day 6 and so on, you are instructed to take 3 pills, twice a day.
That’s about 1200mg of caffeine a day!
That’s basically 6 cups of coffee!
Do They Work?
Yes and no.
If you are expecting to lose an additional 5 lbs. a week by taking a fat burner, then no, they don’t work.
If you are seeking extra energy, focus, and a decrease in appetite; then yes they work.
My experience with fat burners was mostly positive, but I decided to stop taking them because of the occasions where I felt jittery or had a rapid heartbeat.
Overall, I didn’t feel that it was the healthiest option for me when trying to achieve my fitness goals.
I have to admit that I have done my yearly physical checkups ever since I’ve stopped taking fat burners 2 years ago and I am perfectly healthy.
Worth The Money?
Again, this depends.
You can get close to similar effects by just drinking a couple cups of coffee instead of having to spend money on fat burners.
However, fat burners are convenient.
You just swallow the pills and they go to work.
Drinking 6 pills is a lot easier than drinking 6 cups of coffee.
It’s a matter of personal choice.
Some fat burners are also mixed with vitamins, minerals, and herbs which make them more appealing to consumers.
I am a fan of trying everything once so this is why I gave them a shot.
Fat burners did give me a little more energy than coffee, but the difference was minimal.
I personally love coffee and enjoy drinking it.
If you do decide to try fat burners, please use with caution.
Everyone is different and may have different reactions.
