Right now you probably have a confused look on your face like a crowd of people at a magic show.
You should be confused because you’ve been brainwashed your whole life to believe that breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day.
You’ve been told lies that it kick-starts your metabolism, which helps you lose weight faster.
Yeah, whatever…It’s not true my friend.
These are the BIGGEST LIES ever told by money hungry companies whose only goal is to maximize profit.
Here’s the reality…
The whole “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” thing is 100% BS!
You might be thinking:
“But if skipping breakfast is HEALTHY, why don’t fitness companies promote it?”
Well, which one below do you think yields higher profits:
- Telling people to skip breakfast
- Telling people breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day and selling them overpriced diet snacks, protein powders, pills, etc.
The answer is simple.
Here’s the truth no food or fitness company will ever admit:
Telling people to skip breakfast is NOT profitable!
On the other hand, selling products to misinformed people, who need to lose weight, is EXTREMELY lucrative! $$$
Do you see now why these companies earn BILLIONS of dollars in profits annually?
Why skipping breakfast burns more fat
So why should you skip breakfast?
Here’s another truth that no food or fitness company wants you to know.
When you skip breakfast, you extend your nightly fast and burn more fat.
Unless you wake up in the middle of the night to eat, you fast when you sleep.
What happens when you fast?
The first 6-8 hours, your body digests its last meal.
During this time, not much happens in terms of fat loss and health benefits.
In fact, your body is under stress because the digestion process requires a lot of blood and energy.
This is why you feel sleepy and tired after eating, especially if its a big meal.
The magical fat burning effects and health benefits begin 6-8 hours after your last meal.
At this point, your digestive system gets to take a break (less stress on your body) and “body fat” becomes your ONLY available source of energy.
You know what that means, right?
You’ll burn pure body fat until you eat.
This results in EXTREME and FAST fat loss.
But, that’s just the beginning…
While giving your body more time to bun fat is great, there’s another great benefit.
By skipping breakfast, you get to eat BIGGER meals for lunch and dinner without going over your caloric limit.
For example, let’s say I need to eat 1,700 calories per day to lose weight.
If I skip breakfast and only eat lunch and dinner, I get to have two 850 calorie meals.
And, if I decide to have a small lunch, let’s say 500 calories, that means I can enjoy a 1,350 calorie dinner.
Do you know how big a 1,350 calorie meal is?
Here, I’ll give you an idea:
- 12 oz. of chicken breast (360 calories)
- 1 cups of rice (200 calories)
- 2 cups of beans (400 calories)
- 5 oz. of avocado (250 calories)
- Ice cream sandwich for dessert (140 calories)
Total: 1,350 calories
That’s a TON of food for someone on a diet.
Now, tell me this…
If you get to eat a meal like that and literally DOUBLE your fat loss rate…how happy would that make you?
Well, be happy my friend because you can.
By skipping breakfast, you give you body MORE time to use your stored body fat for energy which means MORE FAT LOSS.
When you get to eat a huge meal for lunch or dinner, it doesn’t even feel like you’re on a diet.

What’s allowed during fasting hours?
You can have anything that’s ZERO calories during your fasting hours.

Logic dictates one less meal means less calories. Less cooking. Less time consumed.

You got that right, Jeremy. Most people don’t know how strong coffee really is until they drink it on an empty stomach.

And, man, I gotta tell you. As someone who gets indigestion, that is the plus to one talks about.
The longer I go between meals, the less I have to worry about what I eat. But, after a while, just the standard eat after 12 and before 8 keeps me without issue.
Here is a tip for anyone to help… Work your way to 12 to 8. Then 12 to 7. Then 1 to 7. Then 1 to 6. Then 2 to 6.
Stick between 2 and 6 strict until you have gone a solid month without indigestion. Then, you can go back to 12 to 8 if you must. But, if you stick 2 to 6, then the occasional breakfast or random snack won’t cause any issue. And one day a week, you can eat any time, and not have issues.
Used it to have breakfast with your favorite female, lunch with your family, and dinner with the boys. But, your stomach will not cause you issue.

This method works well for me on my off days. The hunger in the morning is mostly psychological.
My only problem comes when I am working out. I am up at 5:15 AM to hit the gym. If I am lifting I like to have something after my workout. Usually something light, Greek yogurt.

Excellent comment, Jeremy. I like what you said regarding eating at any time, one day per week. The issue many people experience when intermittent fasting is how it affects their social life. By allowing yourself one day per week where you eat whenever you want, it prevents having to be the only one in the group drinking water while everyone else eats.

The Greek yogurt after the gym is fine. The only time you should worry about extending your fasting window is when you’re trying to lose fat as quickly as possible.
