Keeping your feet clean, fresh, and presentable doesn’t require much work.
Foot odor should be avoided at all cost.
Your toenails should be kept short, neat and clean.
All dead skin and calluses should be removed.
…and your shoes should always be odorless!
Don’t worry, you don’t have to go to the nail salon or buy a bunch of expensive products.
Below are the 5 simple steps I follow to keep my feet fresh, clean, and presentable.
1) Baby Powder
In this post I wrote explaining how baby powder helps keep your manhood smelling great.
Baby powder works very well at keeping your feet dry by soaking up sweat.
Dry feet means clean and fresh feet.
Before putting your socks on, pour baby powder all around your feet, especially in between your toes.
Make sure your feet are clean and dry before doing so.
2) Nail Clipping Set
You must invest in a good nail clipping set.
I currently use the one in the picture above I found in Amazon.
It’s inexpensive and includes everything I need.
However, you could buy one in any physical store near you.
I prefer this one because it comes in a case allowing me to travel with it.
Clipping your toenails isn’t rocket science, and you don’t need to pay someone to do it.
You can refer to videos on YouTube for tips on how to properly trim and file them.
I recommend you clean the tools with alcohol after each use to keep them bacteria free.
3) Socks
You shouldn’t keep socks longer than a month.
I know what you’re thinking “A month, what the heck Alex?”
Let’s get a little graphic here…
Imagine yourself as a sock.
All you do all day is soak up sweat and dead skin cells from your feet.
I don’t care how good you wash them, you should replace them monthly.
Socks are incredibly cheap!
What I do is buy three packs of 12 pairs at a time and use one pack per month.
This way I only have to shop for them every three months.
Don’t be cheap with socks, replace them!
I prefer black socks because white socks always look dirty no matter how much you wash them.
Plus, black socks match better with any shoes, in my opinion.
4) Dry Shoes & Foot Spray
Whether you’re working out or simply walking around the grocery store, your feet are going to sweat.
I was at the gym and noticed a guy in the locker room spraying Odor Eaters on his feet and shoes.
I asked him about it and he said it’s great at keeping his feet/shoes smelling great by eliminating odors.
Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to give it a try.
I was impressed with how well it worked.
A quick one second spray on each foot and inside my shoes leaves my feet smelling great all day.
I like to combine it with the baby powder since baby powder is better at keeping your feet dry, but odor eaters is amazing at killing odors.
5) Callus Removal
If you play sports or workout a lot, you might notice calluses on your feet.
However, just about anyone who walks daily can develop calluses .
Removing calluses is easy to do.
No need to go to the nail salon and spend money.
I use this callus removal.
It removes dead skin and leaves my feet baby smooth.
You gently scrape over the calluses and dead skin and it comes right off.
I recommend you place your feet in hot water before doing so.
This makes your skin soft and easier to remove the calluses .
These were the top five tools I use to keep my feet clean, fresh, and presentable all year.
As you can see, doing this yourself is easy, quick, and cheap.
No need to go spend $20 or whatever it is they charge for a pedicure at a salon.
Not only is the salon more expensive, but you waste time driving there, waiting, and driving back home.
I don’t like to spend unnecessary money or time.
