No matter who you are and how much you’ve accomplished…
You’ll always face some kind of doubt or fear.
As your goals get bigger, so do the challenges to achieve them.
“Can I do this?”
That’s a question you should never ask again.
Don’t ever convince your mind of any doubt.
Every goal is attainable.
The only thing that’ll determine how long to achive it is the amount of time you dedicate to it on a DAILY BASIS.
Work + Work + More Work = Achievement
There are no shortcuts.
There’s no one smarter than you.
There’s no one better than you.
Everyone has to go through the same process to achieve the same goal.
You can’t tell me that by giving your goal everything you have, you won’t make progress.
You and I both know you will.
…we can even bet on it if you’d like.
But can you accept making slow steady progress instead of instant progress?
That you have to consistently learn and apply new information?
That you actually have to put in time, effort, and hard work?
…Or is it just not worth it?
Is your goal something you can live without?
Something that’s not really important?
Guess what?…It isn’t something you can live without and it’s VERY important.
You can lie to me but you sure cannot lie to yourself.
You made it your goal for a reason.
So don’t allow yourself a reason to quit.
Don’t let fear, doubt, bullshit advice from “friends” convince you your goal isn’t worth it.
Release the beast inside you and make it happen.
Give it everything you got.
Become a vigorous worker who doesn’t quit.
And when you don’t have anything left, push yourself and give it some more.
Your mind lies and tries to convince that you’re “tired”, way before you really are.
It’s better to die for your goal than to live asking “What if?”
“What if I would’ve never quit?”
“How would my life be different?”
“What would I have?…Where Would I live?…Who would I live with?”
Those questions will burn inside you DAILY like a fireball trapped in your body without an escape.
Quitting won’t do you any good.
…but it sure as hell will do a whole lot of bad.
Don’t do it to yourself.
There’s a beast inside you that’s hungry.
…AND IT EATS PROGRESS AND ACHIEVEMENT FOR DINNER.
Keep the beast full.

Tara,
Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m really impressed with how much effort you put into each and everyone of your articles on your blog. I’m glad this motivated you when you needed a little push and motivation. There will always be a time when you feel like quitting and giving up. Those are the moments when it’s VITAL to push harder than ever before.
In case you haven’t read it yet, there’s a section in the book “Think and Grow Rich” where Napoleon Hill uses the metaphor “3 feet from gold”. It’s one of my favorite chapters. Basically, Napoleon Hill explains that most people give up just before reaching success. They quit when success was closer than ever. Unknowingly, of course.
“One of the most common causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat” – N.Hill

Thanks Andrew!
Glad you found it powerful. This was one of those post where the words just came out of me. I had a voice in my head saying “sit down right now and say what you need to say”.
A couple hours later, “Release the Beast” was born…
