Should I Buy Her a Drink?
When it comes to dating, one thing you try to avoid is wasting your time and money on a woman who isn’t into you.
You fear spending money and later finding out that she wasn’t really into you.
This is fine and understandable.
Why should you buy a drink for a woman who isn’t interested in you?
You shouldn’t have to give any woman an incentive for talking to you.
It’s almost feels like you’re paying for her time…right?
Well it shouldn’t feel that way.
There is nothing wrong with buying a drink for a woman you’ve just met.
However, there are certain ground rules you should follow just to make sure that she is into you.
If you’re at a night club or bar, and you see a woman you’d like to meet, there’s a good chance she already has a drink of her own.
When you approach and talk to her, you should get an idea of who she is as a person.
By the time she’s finished with her current drink, which is typically anywhere from five to ten minutes, you can offer to buy her one…
….if it feels like a good idea.
By the first five or ten minutes of talking to her, you will have learned a few things:
1. Is there rapport between you and her?
Ask yourself how the conversation is going so far.
Both of you should be smiling and having fun.
If you’re both serious and feeling awkward, then maybe continuing the conversation isn’t a good idea.
2. Do You Like Her so Far?
Do you like her persona?…
How’s her attitude?…
Does she appear to have the type of personality that you seek in a woman?…
Or does she not get your sense of humor and is maybe a little too serious for your taste?…
3. Is She Present?
Is she listening to you while you speak, or is her attention elsewhere, like her phone?
Her only focus of attention should be YOU.
She should value and respect your time, even if you just met and she doesn’t know you.
After all, you’re valuing and respecting her time, right?
If you answer “yes” to these three questions, then you can feel confident about buying her a drink.
Now it’s important to note that buying a woman a drink or two is not going to leave you bankrupt.
However, buying five different woman in one night a drink or two can be a waste of time and money.
This is why it’s important you get a good idea of who she is before offering her a drink.
Again, there is NOTHING wrong with buying woman a drink…
But there is something very wrong with buying four or five woman one or two drinks and never hearing from them again.
Are you following me?…
The goal is to find a woman that is worth your time and avoid spending money on someone who isn’t.
Ask yourself the three questions above before offering a drink and you will be fine.
“Can I buy you a drink?” should never be the first question out of your mouth when approaching a woman.
After you meet a woman that you like and have a few drinks together, after you have to worry about next is when to call her and set up a first date.
Your friend,
Alex
