Symptoms of Low Testosterone
Symptoms of low testosterone can be hard to deal with.
It creates pain, agony, and frustration in men.
Some symptoms include:
Low Sex drive. Testosterone is what makes a man. If you have low sex drive, especially if you’re young, chances are you testosterone levels are low.
Erection Issues. Achieving or maintaining an erection is a constant issue.
Less semen than normal. Production of sperm is determined by your levels of testosterone. Higher testosterone levels means more semen production. If your testosterone levels start decreasing, less sperm when ejaculating becomes evident.
Tired and lacking energy often. Do you wake up wising you could stay in bed? Do you daydream about getting home and laying in bed watching TV until you fall asleep? How’s your gym motivation, low?
Moody or Angry. Are you irritable throughout the day? Low testosterone affects your mood at unpredictable times. If you find yourself mad at times and can’t understand why, low testosterone may be the reason.
Losing Muscle. Are your arms, legs, or chest beginning to look and feel smaller? Are all those reps and hours spent in the gym not doing you any justice? When experiencing symptoms of low testosterone, it’s difficult to build and keep muscle.
Gaining fat. Is your diet and activity level the same but you’re suddenly packing on the pounds? Are you finding that no matter how much you run or healthy you eat, you can’t lose to last 5-10 lbs.? According to published studies, body fat and low testosterone work together, they help each other “stick” around. This makes it extremely difficult to lose weight.
How to Prevent Low Testosterone
Preventing low testosterone doesn’t involve a huge lifestyle change.
Things like eating unprocessed foods and maintaining low body fat levels are good places to start.
Processed foods like fast food will destroy testosterone in your body!
Look I get it, fast food is convenient.
Sometimes you don’t have time or desire to cook.
However, fast food places use low quality meat derived from animals who have been fed a junk diet.
In order to get these animals fat and produce more meat to sell, they are fed cheap junk grains that contain estrogen and growth hormone.
It doesn’t end there…
Fast food is fried in sunflower oil or soybean oil because both are incredibly cheap.
Both oils lower testosterone.
Thought I was done? Not so fast.
The coke or other high sugar soft drink you “enjoy” with your testosterone murdering meal adds fuel to the fire.
According to article, just adding sugar to regular water significantly lowers testosterone.
Imagine what a soft drink filled with sugar and all the other chemicals does to your testosterone.
A fast food meal contains everything that harms testosterone, imagine if you eat it daily.
Stick to home cooked meals with quality meat and drink water.
Occasional fast food or sugar drinks won’t hurt you, it’s when you indulge in them often that things begin to get ugly.
If you must eat out, try to eat somewhere where the food is prepared fresh.
In this article I explain more on low testosterone causes and things to avoid to prevent it.
The best tips that you can start implementing right now are eliminating processed foods and sugary drinks, sleeping more, and keeping your body fat low by exercising (lift weights, run, swim, etc.).
