Why Starting a Blog is a Great Idea
If you have a passion for something…
Anything….
You should start a blog.
When you are passionate about something, you tend to constantly learn more about it.
You focus on it. You talk about it. Most importantly, you enjoy it.
The more you learn about something, the more you should share it with as many people as possible.
Why, you ask?
Well because there are people just like you who are passionate about the same thing and want to learn more about it.
And guess what my friend, YOU can help them!
Your goal is to help as many people learn as much as possible.
The more you help people learn, the better you feel about yourself and the more you make the world a better place.
What am I passionate about?
Change.
The thought of someone changing their lives in a positive way or achieving a goal gets me fired up!
Nothing makes my day better than hearing success stories about how people have changed their lives or have achieved something they’ve always wanted.
I am moved when I hear stories about how someone started a business, lost weight or became stronger, began making extra income to help them and their family, etc.
I am intrigued and fascinated by how our brain works and how it controls every decision we make.
I remember when I first started learning about habits and how they work in the brain.
I was always curious to learn why is it that people always fail when they try to change.
So after spending many hours researching this area and learning all these great things that have gone on to change my life, I felt that it was only right that I contributed and shared my knowledge with as many people as possible.
Ever since I started practicing new habits in my life, my whole life has turned around.
I started this blog. I began getting up at 5 am to exercise. I’ve changed my eating habits from constant fast food to healthier homemade options.
Without getting too much into it, I basically became a more productive and happier person.
There are many upsides to starting a blog besides just helping others, there is also the opportunity to make as much money as you’d like.
Of course, making money from a blog will require work and will.
The amount of money you make will also depend on how much time you devote to your blog and how much you inspire your readers.
Again, only write about things that you have knowledge about and that will help other people.
If you start a blog and your only intentions are making money, you won’t be passionate about what you do and it will just feel like work.
You will not be in it to help others.
You will be in it for yourself, and that’s not contribution.
However, if you are passionate about it and you enjoy what you write about, you can definitely begin to earn a little extra money by helping others.
I really don’t believe that there is a better way to earn a little extra money than by helping other people learn and change their lives.

How Often Should You Write?
This is totally up to you.
You can publish a great article every day if you like.
However, I have a golden rule that I believe you should also follow.
Only publish written articles that are GREAT!
In other words, don’t publish articles just to publish.
Make sure your articles will help people.
Make sure that people will be fired up and motivated after reading your content or that they will have learned something new.
Take your time with your content, revise it, and make it the best you can.
I sometimes spend about a week on an article before I publish it.
I want to help my readers as much as possible. I want to hear about how much my article motivated them or thought them something new that will implement immediately in their lives.
I personally publish an article in my blog anywhere from one to three times a week.
Sometimes I’ll write a great article in the first attempt.
Other times, I’ll write it, revise it, decide I don’t like it, and start all over.
Only write and publish an article after you have read it and personally feel that it’s perfect.
Good luck!

2 years ago, I started two blogs, but with the intention of making money and nothing else. Yes, I was a scumbag “affiliate marketer” just trying to push products. Well naturally I failed miserably. Just 4 months ago I decided I would try again, but do it honestly- sharing my life experience and knowledge with whoever I could reach. It’s a very fulfilling experience and I have made a bit of money from it- which proves to me that it is possible to go full time if I only work hard enough. Honestly, I think everyone should have a blog going. It’s just such a great way to connect and share knowledge.
