My last post on this blog was just under a year ago.
During that period, I’ve made money every month.
Articles that I wrote years ago get plenty of traffic every day and put money in my pocket.
Today, I wake up to “payment received” notifications without doing any additional work.
But let’s go back to the beginning…
I started this blog in October of 2016.
My goal was simple: Help people and make money.
Initially, it felt like a waste of time.
I pumped out article after article and no one seemed to care.
No comments, emails or reactions of any kind.
Did I feel like quitting?
Every day.
Why didn’t I?
I knew better.
And here lies the purpose of this article.
Growing a Million Dollar Tree with Dollar Seeds
Growing a profitable blog is the exact same process as growing a tree.
You plant seeds and you wait.
Period.
If you lack patience or seek instant gratification, don’t waste your time.
The success won’t come over night.
Anyone who tells you different is lying.
You have to plant a lot of dollar seeds and wait for your million dollar tree to grow.
If you stop watering it, and by that I mean stop publishing articles, your tree will inevitably die.
Just think about the millions of blogs that don’t pass the year mark.
The month mark.
The week mark.
PEOPLE GIVE UP TOO SOON!
Look, success with blogging isn’t a guarantee.
However, if you consistently publish quality content that helps people, the money will eventually start coming in.
Just put in the time and watch the magic happen.
The more seeds you plant (articles you write), the stronger and more profitable your tree will be.
Talk soon,
Alex

I’ve struggled mightily the last few weeks with blog/site ideas. I would come up with what I thought were good ideas for blogs. I’d get excited, buy the domain, set up the blog, and write a post or two. Then I quit after realizing the niche of the site is too small. I realize I can’t write hundreds of posts on that niche. So I end up wasting money. I need to plan better and really think if the niche is good long term which they’re rarely if ever are. I’ve made three sites during that span and all of them just won’t work long term. I have to quit doing this. It’s tiring after awhile.
