So you want to prime your body for extreme fat burning?
Great, I’m here to teach you how.
Follow my 5 easy steps and watch how your body turns into a FAT BURNING FURNACE!
Seriously, these steps are that powerful.
However, they only work when combined, so you must do all 5 to get results.
Skip just one step and your results won’t be as extreme.
Let’s begin.
1) Do cardio first thing in the morning
Doing cardio first thing in the morning is MAGIC for fat loss.
Why?
Because your body uses pure fat for energy.
When you wake up in the morning, your body is two things:
- Depleted of glycogen
- Dehydrated
Since your body has no glycogen, it’s FORCED to use fat for energy.
Pretty cool, huh?
With that said, it’s important to know that dehydration is bad for fat loss.
That’s why, before doing your cardio, you should…
2) Drink cold water
Just the slightest hint of dehydration can slow down your metabolism by 30-40%.
If your goal is to burn fat, a slower metabolism is the LAST thing you want.
To prevent this, simply drink 16 oz. of cold water upon waking upon.
Why cold water?
Easy answer.
Cold water forces your body to burn MORE calories because it has to work HARDER to compensate for the sudden drop in temperature.
Am I saying that you’re going to burn an extra 500 calories just by switching to cold water?
No.
On average, you’ll burn 1 calorie per ounce of cold water.
So, if you drink a gallon (128 oz.) per day, that’s an extra 128 calories.
This amounts to 3,840 calories per month.
That means that you’ll burn off an extra pound (3,500 calories) of pure body fat just by switching to cold water.
In case you feel a pound of fat isn’t worth switching over to cold water for, let me remind just how much a pound is:
3) Cold shower
If you’re like me, you love a nice, hot shower in the morning.
But, if your goal is fat loss, you’ll want to give the opposite a try.
A cold shower burns fat because, just like when you drink cold water, your body works harder (burns more calories) to keep you warm.
You’ll notice it’s tough to breathe during a cold shower.
This happens because the cold water increases your heart rate and oxygen intake.
Not only does this increase the number of calories your body burns, but it also provides you a surge of energy for the day.
But here’s the real kicker that makes cold showers AMAZING for fat loss…Did you know that there two types of fat in your body?
You have “brown fat” and “white fat”.
White fat is your enemy because it’s the one you physically see on your body.
Brown fat is your best friend because it’s job is to generate heat and keep your body nice and warm.
A cold shower activates brown fat to keep you warm.
If you’re new to taking cold showers, blasting cold water all over your body will be one hell of a shock, especially in the mornings.
Here’s what I recommend: Start your shower with hot water and gradually make the water cold.
The transition will be much easier and comfortable than jumping right into cold water.
Trust me.
4) Coffee
Not only is coffee a FANTASTIC appetite suppressant, it also helps you burn more fat by boosting your metabolism.
However, there’s a rule you must follow: Drink your coffee black.
This means absolutely no sugar, milk, or any other sort of sweetener.
A cup of black coffee has 0 calories which allows your body to remain in fat burning mode. (I’ll explain this in detail in #5 below)
When you start adding things to your coffee to make it sweet, you instantly turn this powerful fat burning tool into a fat gainer.
Drinking your coffee black is an acquired taste.
It takes a couple days to get use to, but trust me that once you make the switch, you’ll never have it any other way.
One of my favorite things about drinking my coffee black is that there are no sugar crashes.
I remember when I use to add cream and sugar, I’d feel tired within a couple of hours.
As soon as I started drinking it black, the sugar crashes disappeared.
I drink Death Wish Coffee because of it’s high caffeine content and it’s amazing, fresh taste.
5) Wait to eat
This is the final piece of the puzzle, and it’s a BIG piece…
Wait to eat.
This simply means to wait as long as possible to have your first meal of the day.
This is known as intermittent fasting.
By waiting to eat, you give your body more time to use stored fat for energy.
As soon as you eat, your body stops burning fat.
I usually don’t have my first meal until noon.
I don’t even think about it anymore, it’s just what I do.
A great benefit of doing this is that you get to enjoy bigger, more satisfying meals because you’ll be at such a huge caloric deficit.
Think about it…
Let’s say that in order to maintain your weight, you can eat a maximum of 2,500 calories daily.
Now, let’s say that you wait until 12pm to have your first meal.
You decide to have 3 slices of pizza that are 300 calories each, which puts you at 900 calories.
That means that you’ll have 1,600 calories left for the rest of day.
That’s like 4 double cheeseburgers from McDonald’s.
And, you won’t gain a single pound simply because you won’t go over your maintenance calories.
Beautiful.
Of course, you shouldn’t live off burgers and pizza.
I’m just trying to make a point of how much more you can eat and still burn fat by disciplining yourself to wait to eat.
You should always strive to eat healthy, but you have no reason to fear eating your favorite foods.
Just push your first meal until later in the day and you’ll see how much easier losing and maintaining your weight will be.
I guarantee it.
The Schedule
By now you might be wondering which order to do these 5 steps every morning.
For best results, do them in this order:
1) Drink cold water
You’ll want to start off with 16 oz. of cold water so you can hydrate yourself.
You are the most dehydrated when you wake up in the morning because your body has gone all night without water.
The obvious indicator of this is how yellow your urine is.
Remember, just the slightest hint of dehydration slows down your metabolism.
2) Cold Shower
Take your cold shower immediately after drinking your cold water.
This will help activate brown fat as we discussed earlier.
Spend 10 minutes in the cold shower for best results.
3) Coffee
By now, you’ll feel alert, alive and energized from your cold shower and cold water you drank.
Now, it’s time to take things over the edge and add some hot, fresh black coffee into the mix.
This will truly be the icing on the cake.
Sit down, enjoy your nice cup of coffee and start thinking about the amazing cardio session you’re about to have.
You might even start listening to some of your favorite songs as you sip your coffee so you can begin pumping yourself up.
4) Cardio
This is 100% up to you, but I recommend that you jump rope if you’re serious about burning fat quickly.
Jumping rope is hands down the FASTEST and most effective fat burning tool.
Forget jogging, running, walking or any of these so-called HIIT workouts that make you feel like throwing up and risk injury.
All you need is a $10 jump rope and watch how the fat begins melting off you FAST like a snow flake that lands on lava.
However, any cardio exercise you do will yield favorable results.
I just always mention jumping rope to my readers because of how powerful it is.
You’ll want to do a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio.
After your cardio, you’re last step will be when to have your first meal of the day.
5) Have 1st meal by noon the earliest
Now that you’re perked up and have engaged in a sweaty, fat burning cardio session; it’s time to ramp up your fat loss to MAXIMUM effect.
This is the time where your metabolism is in TURBO mode due to drinking cold water, taking a cold shower, drinking black coffee, and doing cardio.
At this moment, your body is using nothing but pure body fat for energy.
Can you feel it burning?
Your fat is sizzling and cooking like a nice, juicy steak on the grill.
Let it burn, baby.
Be strong and go as long as possible without having your first meal.
Drink plenty of cold water and have another cup of black coffee to curb your appetite if necessary.
You can do this.
For best results, have your last meal as early as possible in the day so there’s a huge gap between your last meal today and your first meal tomorrow.
I always try to eat my last meal around 6pm-7pm the latest.
Conclusion
Losing weight and keeping it off doesn’t have to be complicated.
Remember I said that I’m a simple man, and I intend to keep it that way.
You don’t have to stop eating your favorite foods, go on crazy fad diets, or torture yourself with hours of exercise.
Instead, all you need to do is develop small habits like the 5 I just shared with you’ll make life a whole lot easier.

Dan Irving says
Are the two meals you eat mostly fat (meat)? I heard you should eat a lot of fat, some proteins, and few carbs when intermittent fasting. However, I am vegan so it will be hard for me to obtain such a nutrient-dense, high fat food for my meals. I typically eat oatmeal in the morning, and veggies, beans and a grain base for dinner, but if I were to intermittent fast do you think it necessary that I ditch the high-carb meals?

Your fat loss results will be a LOT FASTER if you eliminate high-carb meals.
