Progress.
It’s what drives a man.
What gets him out of bed in the morning.
Without it, you’re empty.
Dissatisfied.
Life feels meaningless.
And that’s because, unfortunately, it probably is.
A man needs a mission.
Have you found yours?
I did.
You’re looking at it.
I created a blog that helps and motivates men all over the world.
Whether I teach you how to earn $100 per day or how to get over a break-up, it doesn’t matter.
…All that matters is that I help you in some way.
Now, 300 articles later, I’ve done a great job at that.
Men from all over the world email me saying “thank you”.
People buy my books and provide amazing feedback.
My online profits increase every month.
Things are looking great.
But it all started with a mission.
A goal.
A reason to sit down every single day in front of my laptop and work.
What’s your mission?
What are you going to do to help people that will inevitably help you in return?
Don’t know?
Sit down somewhere until the answer comes to you.
Believe me, the answer will come.
Grab a coffee, a beer, or any choice of beverage and sit down to think.
It might take 10 minutes, an hour, or three hours.
Wait for it.
Once the answer comes to you, begin working on it and NEVER look back.
Push through hard times.
Continue working when no signs of progress are present. (Important)
Listen to me.
YOU WILL SUCCEED AS LONG AS YOU DON’T GIVE UP!
Trust me.
I am living proof of this.
I started this mission without a single clue on how to make it a reality.
It took a while before I saw any progress.
But I pushed.
I fought.
As a result, I won.
And to continue to win.
Inertia Will Hurt ya is now an army of 300.
300 standing strong.
…And we’re still recruiting.
Talk soon,
-Alex

I’ve read a lot of blog retrospectives (i.e., reflections on my 50th post, 100th, post, etc.) and this is one of the best because the proof is in your numbers: 300 posts and 4 ebooks in less than two years.
I’ve read that 95% of bloggers quit in the first five months, and that it takes most blogs 1.5-2 full years to build up appreciable traffic. My own blog is less than 9 months old and it’s still a challenge to find the time (& discipline) to write consistently. Still, yours is an inspiration.
Keep writing; I’ll keep reading.

Thanks for the kind words, Peter. Do whatever it takes to make the time to write. Eventually, you’ll feel pulled to do it. I can’t go a single day without writing. I’ll skip eating before I skip writing. That’s the kind of determination and obsession you want to develop. That’s what makes you unstoppable and great.
