Write everything you know.
In case you wanted the short and quick answer, there it is.
So many people are caught up on the non-sense of sticking to ONE topic with their blog.
Either write about success, fitness, money, and so on.
They believe that blogs which cover a lot of topics and ideas won’t succeed.
This couldn’t be more wrong.
What matters is good content.
If you write quality content, Google will rank it.
And the more of it you write, the more people will find your blog.
Period.
This brings me back to my main point.
Just write what you know.
No matter what it is, if you feel it’s going to help people, publish it.
I just finished writing an article on a window air conditioner unit I use to have.
I was going through some old photos and found some that I took of it to show my friends after installing it.
Immediately I thought:
“Hey, my experience with this AC was great. Why not write about it?”.
After all, anyone looking for an AC would benefit from my story.
Of course, a part of me didn’t feel like it was a good idea since my blog has nothing to do with air conditioners.
But that’s not the point.
The point is to help people.
So I pushed through any doubts and wrote the article anyways because I know for a fact that it’s a wonderful product and those who buy it will benefit from it.
That’s what a blog is all about.
Writing about anything and everything you know that people will ultimately benefit from.
You MUST be fearless.
Write whatever comes to mind.
Don’t fear how you’ll be perceived.
Focus on helping people.
If you hold back, you’re not being real.
You’re not being YOU.
If you buy a pair of shoes that turn out to be great, write about it!
Your blog should offer a ton of information and personal experiences.
This will make it unique.
So many people try to copy other blogs and follow their same footsteps in order to play it safe.
You can’t succeed by pretending to be someone else.

You can only succeed by telling your story.
Sharing your experiences.
And most importantly, being honest with your audience.
I’ll leave “sticking to one topic” for my niche websites.
Stop worrying about what you should and shouldn’t write.
Just type it and hit publish.
Everything else will take care of itself.
Trust me.
Talk soon,

Hey Alex. I just found you through a comment on B&D and your content looks amazing. Can’t wait to work my way through it.
Also I found a broken tweet link on this article?

Or maybe it’s something with my phone.
Anyway, nice blog man.
