What’s the one thing you can’t buy more of?
Time.
Time is your most valuable asset.
Whether you’re rich, middle class, or poor; it simply does not make a difference regarding time.
If you’re like most people, you hit the snooze button in the morning and dread getting out of bed.
Then, you rush to get to work or school and barely make it on time every day.
All the rushing creates anxiety and stress.
As a result, you start each and every day with?
You guessed it…anxiety and stress.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING has done more for my productivity and success in ALL areas of life than this one thing that I’m about to share with you.
Keep in mind, it won’t be easy to do at the beginning.
In fact, if you’re anything like I use to be, it’ll be extremely difficult.
But, the good news is that it’ll get easier and easier with each passing day.
OK, so what’s the one thing you should do every day?
Get up at 5am.
This is something that I talk about inside my book MR. $100.
There are exceptions to this if you work overnight, or if you actually have to be someone at 5am.
If not, then there is absolutely no reason why you can’t do it.
Why 5am?
Waking up at 5am has a magical effect.
For starters, it’s peaceful and quiet outside.
Everyone else is waiting for their annoying alarm to wake them up from that precious dream they’re having.
But not you, no no no.
YOU are up and ready to get things out of the way.
Things you’d usually push and leave for the end of the day.
Waking up at 5am not only gives you a head start on your day, but gives you more freedom in the evening.
You can exercise, read, work on making money online, work on a pending project, go grocery shopping at a 24 hour supermarket like Walmart, and so on.
Best of all, you’ll find that “rushing” is no longer part of you.
All the anxiety and stress you’d encounter daily will be gone.
This one simple habit will make you feel in control of your life.
Starting tomorrow
Set your alarm on your phone for 5am and get out of bed.
Believe me, every fiber in your body will pull you to hit “off” on the alarm and return to sleep.
But, if you can bring yourself to get up, splash cold water on your face, and prepare a fresh cup of coffee; you’ll see how it isn’t so bad after all.
I highly recommend that you use this time to get a workout in.
You can either do some form of cardio or weight-training.
Whatever it is, just do something to get your blood flowing.
After your workout, make sure you add a cold shower into the mix.
A workout followed by a cold shower will get your blood pumping throughout your entire body.
Instead of looking like a zombie when you get to work who’s still half asleep, you’ll kick the front door in and handle business like a man.
People will notice and tell you that there’s something different about you.
Trust me.
In Closing
Yes there are countless things one can do for self-improvement.
However, all of them, no matter how big or small, will require time.
Getting up at 5am will allow you to do many (if not all) of these things.
On a different note, as a man, you need to experience peace on a daily basis.
Nothing is more peaceful than walking outside at 5am and experiencing pure silence.
Add that peacefulness with a good workout, some fresh coffee, and a cold shower – and believe me, my friend, things will begin to change for you in a very positive way.
Nothing brings a man more satisfaction than feeling like he’s in control of his life.
Developing the discipline to get up EVERY SINGLE DAY at 5am will set you on that path.
Start tomorrow.
Anytime after tomorrow will be too late.
Talk soon,
