Ever notice the first 3 letters of the word Diet?
D-I-E = DIE
That’s exactly what people feel when dieting.
I am so hungry I feel like I’m about to die.
I am craving my favorite foods so much that I feel like I’m about die.
I am so stressed with this diet that I feel like I’m going to die.
…And so on.
Here’s the reality: Going on a diet will always SUCK.
You’re NEVER going to feel like doing it.
Not today, not tomorrow, and not in 5 years.
Never.
Dieting is a temporary sacrifice.
If you’re fantasizing about a day where you’re going to wake up and feel like dieting, stop it.
It’s not going to happen.
The longer you wait, the harder its going to get, and the less you’re going to feel like doing it.
If there’s ONE thing I’ve learned about humans and dieting it’s that if they don’t make the decision to get this part of their life handled sooner than later, there’s a very small chance they’ll do anything about it in the future.
So what do you do if need to lose weight?
Simple.
First of all, understand that losing weight is mostly psychological.
Sure, you’re going to get cravings for your favorite foods, as well as “think” that you’re hungry when you’re really not; but you’re NOT going to die.
Of course you’re going to want a burger and fries.
Of course you’re going to want ice cream.
Of course you’re going to want to hang out with friends, eat, and not worry about breaking your diet.
Congratulations, you’re human!
It’s FINE!
However, you’re going to have to put these wants and desires on hold temporarily until you burn the fat.
Once you get to your goal weight, you simply follow the RIGHT methods to maintain that weight.
The BEST thing you can do is START NOW, get it over with, and never look back.
Trust me.
It’s only going to get harder by starting later.
Why?
Because not only are you NOT going to feel like dieting, but you’ll likely be a lot heavier than you are now.
This means that you’ll have to diet a lot LONGER.
Does that make sense?
Don’t worry about how much you weigh right now, it’s no big deal.
Instead, be happy that you’re starting now instead of later when you’ll be heavier.
It doesn’t matter whether you need to lose 10 or 100 pounds, you can do it.
But you must START NOW!
Think of it this way…
2 weeks from today, you can either be 5 pounds skinnier or 5 pounds heavier.
This is what just ONE pound of fat looks like inside your body.
Do you want to add or lose more of these?
Make the right decision for your health and happiness.
