I love Mondays, do you?
If you’re like most people, your answer is ‘no’.
I use to hate Mondays so much that I dreaded going to sleep on Sundays.
Can you relate?
I’m sure you can.
Below are the top 5 reasons why people hate Mondays and how to start loving them.
1) Job
The #1 reason most people hate Mondays is because of their job.
Almost everyone who goes to work on Mondays is forced to go.
Since there’s bills to be paid, and mouths to feed (even if it’s just their mouth), they have no choice.
Whatever you dislike and are forced to do, slowly but surely, makes you miserable.
So, what do you do?
Take action and change it.
“But Alex, I don’t have time.”
The word don’t isn’t in a man’s vocabulary, so make the time!
Get up earlier and search for a more fulling job or start an online business like me.
If you keep doing the same thing every day, you’re going to keep getting the same results.
Are you with me?
Forget about the past, how long you’ve been at your job and how much you hate it.
Instead, focus on changing it.
How else do you think people who have been in YOUR SAME SITUATION did it?
By complaining, crying or quitting on life?
No.
By refusing to settle and taking action to make a change?
Yes!
Now it’s your turn…
2) Purpose
If you’re lacking purpose in life, you’re 100% going to hate Mondays, along with every other day of the week.
When you find your purpose, life feels meaningful and Monday is just like any other day, fabulous.
I found my purpose by starting this blog and creating FREE content that helps people all over the world.
Nothing is more gratifying than receiving a ‘Thank you’ from someone I’ve never met.
Seriously, it’s amazing.
What’s your purpose?
What do you like to do that you can teach others?
Decide and begin researching ways to teach others in person or over the internet.
If you can’t think of anything, your purpose is to find something that will give you a purpose.
End of story.
3) Passion
If you lack passion in life, you’re not living.
As short as life is, every day needs to feel meaningful.
Yes, you’re going to have bad days.
But no matter what kind of day you have, it’s still needs to feel purposeful.
Makes sense?
I have bad days just like everyone else.
However, due to the passion I have for this blog, I tend to feel great even on days when things just aren’t going my way.
What am I so passionate about Inertia Will Hurt Ya?
Because of the abundance of people I get to help EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Regardless of how bad of a day I have, I still contribute and help others.
That alone makes life AMAZING no matter how bad of a day I have.
How do you know if you’re passionate about something?
You think about it when you wake up in the morning.
4) Laziness
I’m no one to judge you, that’s what people who lack passion do, judge others.
I’m more of a friend who’s brutally honest for your own good.
If you hate Mondays, it’s YOUR fault.
Your lack of change is due to laziness.
You find excuses instead of solutions.
Don’t worry, I was the same way until one day I told myself “It’s time for a change”.
What day was that exactly?
5) Fear of change
The last reason people hate Mondays is due to fear of change.
Most people fear change because they claim their “happy and comfortable”, even though deep down inside they’re miserable.
Well guess what?
Unless you’re OK with the idea of doing what you currently do for the rest of your life, you’ll need to get comfortable with change.
Am I telling you to quit your job if you hate it?
No, that’s irresponsible.
Again, get up earlier and begin taking action towards something that will make Mondays a joy, instead of a misery.
It’s that easy.
Nothing changes until you do, and the only time to start is now.
Yesterday is gone…and tomorrow is too late.
