Hello friend.
It’s crazy how FAST a year goes by.
I remember it like it was yesterday…
I purchased my domain (Inertia Will hurt ya) and set up this blog.
There I was, a man with a registered domain, and no idea what to do next. (Haha!)
I remember jumping back and forth, like a madman, from YouTube to WordPress, following instructions on how to install plug-ins.
In the midst of it all, I found myself thinking: “Wow, this takes work!”
Right there and then, I knew why many people don’t even get passed the initial stage of blogging.
Just setting up the website alone (when you don’t know a damn thing about WordPress) takes time, patience, and commitment.
…Well, quitting isn’t my style.
And though I’m not the most patient man in the world, I know better than to get frustrated.
I knew what I wanted to do and was committed to doing it.
One way or another, I was going to figure out how to create a great blog, publish quality content, and help people.
I was also going to monetize my blog in an ethical way.
Fast forward a year later…Both goals were a success!
I eliminated my self-limiting beliefs about being successful online.
I know now, for a fact, that ANYONE can do this.
BUT…
Without commitment, effort, and patience; it isn’t likely.
So before I get into what I have in store for this blog during its second year, I’d like to tell you a few things.
If you really want to start your own blog, all you need to do is take the first step.
Buy your domain and host it at Hostgator.
Just that one step makes the rest easier.
There are countless videos on YouTube that show you how to setup your website.
…But you have to at least take the first step.
There’s something magical about taking just a little action.
It makes taking the second step, along with the rest, a lot easier and more likely.
Make a commitment to take just one step every day.
If you can figure out how to log online, how to come to my website, then you too can create a successful blog.
Period.
I got an email the other day from a young man who’s a perfect example of “taking action”.
He (Al) has created a whole blog about a popular video game (NCAA 06).
The blog is very “targeted“ and has a great chance to succeed, if he continues to work on it.
He’s written articles and plans on creating an Ebook to offer his readers.
He’s already receiving decent traffic to his site, and I assured him that if he keeps up with it, the traffic will only increase!
Al reminds me a lot of myself when I first started.
I wasn’t sure of what to do, where to look, or who to ask.
…But I took action and did something!
Anything!
And I got results.
By Al emailing me, it showed he’s serious about succeeding, just like I am.
I use to email the hell out of people!
Read my article “The Vicious Viking“ to see what I mean.
If I had a question, concern, or worry; I’d do what I had to do to figure it out.
Man, I emailed so many people at the beginning, I couldn’t tell you who most of them are today.
Many of them didn’t answer.
But that’s not what’s important.
What’s important are the ones that did answer and helped me make MASSIVE progress.
Listen…
The answers are out there.
There’s people willing to help, but YOU have to take action and ask for them for it!
You’re not going to figure it all out on your own.
There’s not enough time, and you’ll more than likely quit out of frustration and doubt.
I made a LOT of progress during my first year blogging.
WAYYYY more progress than the average new blogger.
Why?
Because I didn’t take “NO” for an answer.
I went after what I wanted and didn’t quit till I got it.
…And I will follow that same strategy for the rest of my life.
Below is an email between James Clear (writer of Jamesclear.com) and I.
James was one of the guys I found online who had what I wanted.
He writes great content that helps and motivates people.
He’s also one of the most popular and successful bloggers at the moment.
I knew he had the answer to many questions I had.
So I had two options:
1) Not email him because there was NO WAY he’d email me back
2) Email him
And I decided to go with with option # 2 as you see in our conversation below.
Turns out that James was a cool guy who was willing to help out.
In the email above, I asked James his opinions on an article I had written.
This was one of MANY emails I sent him.
With Al and I, the roles were reversed.
He approached me for help and I was more than willing to share my advice.
Now, anyone who reads this article and is interested in the NCAA 06 game, will visit his website.
Good job, Al.
Look…
No one is born knowing how to do this.
You might have been born with “talents”, but no one is born knowing how to start a blog.
However, you can learn.
You can go after what you want.
You can make it a reality.
You just have to take the first step.
The longer you take to start, the longer you take to succeed.
The Second Year of Inertia Will Hurt Ya
Now that I’ve learned the basics, what mistakes to avoid, and how to work smarter…
It’s time to kick some serious ass!
During the 2nd year of Inertia will hurt ya, you can expect a lot more great content and the publishing of my second eBook. (Title will be disclosed soon)
The information included in my previous Ebook (Terrific Tumblr Traffic) will also be included.
The book will be based on how to earn $100 a day online.
In it, I will discuss exactly what you need to do to achieve this goal.
I know that 99.9 % of my readers would love to make this goal a reality.
There are MANY products online that make this promise, but NONE of them give practical advice.
In other words, none of them provide a step-by-step strategy to follow.
Many of them include “good information”, but I’ve yet to come across one where I can literally put systems into place that’ll get me results.
Well, this product won’t disappoint.
Selling people shitty products, which don’t deliver on their promises, isn’t my style.
This product will show what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.
The Ebook will be released on 12/31/15.
I know many people set “New Year’s Resolutions”, and what better way to start the New Year than with the goal and commitment of earning $100 a day online.
It was ALWAYS my goal to earn at least this much everyday online.
I knew it would provide me freedom.
Freedom from having to ever work in an office again.
Freedom to take my dogs to the park and watch them run around like horses as I worked on my laptop and sipped my coffee.
Freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted.
Freedom to go to bed at 4 a.m. and get up the next day at whatever time.
(Or at least until my dogs woke me up begging to let them out.)
And now, after learning and applying MANY things, I’ve cracked the code on how to make this goal a reality.
You just need to do the work and the results are GUARANTEED to come.
So stay tuned for updates on book and mark your calendar for 12/31 so you can get your copy.
I’m very pleased with the results of this blog during its first year and extremely excited of what’s to come during its 2nd year!
We’ll talk again soon,
-Alex

Thanks for everything Alex, publicity and all!

I would like to add one thing…
I have been working on my blog for six months. The only way I still have the motivation to keep writing for my blog is because I enjoy what I am writing about. I can’t stress this enough.
I did not create my blog to make money down the road, that would just be an added bonus. My blog is targeted too an extremely small niche to make millions off of it. I just so happen to know a ton about the video game the blog is about.
In order to enjoy your blog and reap the rewards, I strongly suggest that you be passionate about the actual content you write and not the potential end results.
I don’t know if I will ever make any consistent profit from my site.
What I do know is that enjoy writing for my site and helping others who still play and enjoy this game.

Happy belated to Inertia Will Hurt Ya!
I had to go offline for a while to take care of a few things, and was happy to return and see this article (and more! I have a lot to catch up with 🙂 I’ll be taking more green tea breaks, I guess!). It’s very motivating because I’ve been reading you for a long time, I bought your 1st book, and had the pleasure of corresponding with you via email – I know that you’re for real and your content is for real. Keep up the fantastic work, my friend! I look forward to your next book!
Cheers,
-Tara
