The Power of 1000: A Fail-Proof Plan to Make Passive Money Online
UPDATE: My book “How to Make $100 Every Day on The Internet” containing my NEWEST strategies for making money is now available. Click here now to learn more and download your copy.
I’m about to reveal a simple strategy for you to make passive money online.
And while it’s simple, it will require you to work.
You ready?
Here it is…
Create a blog and write 1000 articles.
How long is this going to take?
That depends on you.
The more you work, the faster you’ll get it done.
If you write one article daily for a year, you’ll have 365 articles.
…But you and I both know you can do better than that.
You can average 3 articles per day and have 1000 articles before the year is up.
And if you’re a success savage like me, you’ll get it done even faster.
You’ll work a little harder on weekends or whenever you have time off.
It all comes down to how bad and quickly you want it.
So let’s go over why 1000 articles will create passive income for you.
Why it Works
Search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) LOVE websites with a lot of content.
Take a look at most blogs and you’ll notice they don’t even have 50 articles.
For this reason, they don’t go anywhere.
It’s not that they fail or lack potential.
Instead, it’s that the writer gave up too soon.
You see, most people believe they can write a few articles and be successful.
No, my friend.
Like anything else, if you want success, you’re going to have to work for it.
And a blog with barely any content won’t be respected by search engines the way a blog with plenty of content will.
Right now, this blog has close to 250 articles and I’ve been blogging since October 2014.
That means I’m only 1/4 of the way to 1000 articles.
Of course, I’ve been busy with other projects like my niche websites and eBooks.
However, once I’ve completed my money making blueprint; you can bet that I’ll be working towards 1000 articles.
The equation is simple; those who have more content will rank better and get more traffic.
But…
You can’t just type a bunch of words on the computer screen and expect to succeed. (More on this in a few)
For now, let’s go over how this method makes you money.
How it Makes You Money
Let’s say on average, each of your articles brings you just 2 people per day to your website.
That’s a very low and EASY number to hit.
On average, most articles will bring you way more than 2 visitors daily.
So let’s do the math:
2 people x 1000 articles = 2,000 people
2,000 people x 30 days in a month = 60,000 monthly visitors!
Listen to me, I don’t care what strategy you follow to make money online…
Whether it’s selling eBooks, affiliate marketing, Google AdSense, or consulting services; if you average 60,000 per month to your website, you’re going to make money.
End of story.
Especially if you follow the advice I give you in this article.
Anyone who tells you different has no idea how the internet works.
We’ll go over what you’re website needs to include in order to make money in a few.
For now, let’s discuss what you should write about.
What to Write
The very first thing you need to know is that each article you write has to be of quality.
Did you hear me there?
QUALITY. QUALITY. QUALITY.
If you’re going to learn just ONE thing from this article, let that be it.
This will not work if your articles lack quality.
Don’t get confused and think you can write 1000 bogus articles and succeed.
When it comes to blogging success, quality beats quantity in every round of their fight.
However, combine them both and you’re talking some serious money.
So how do you write a quality article?
Write a minimum of 1000 words and use headings so each article is neat and easy to read.
This also allows your audience to quickly scan the article and read the section they want.
Here’s a secret: Articles with at least 1000 words and paragraph headings are ranked better by search engines.
They’re perceived as high quality.
Want proof?
Go into Google right now and search “Steak and eggs diet”.
…You’ll see me pop up.
Google doesn’t have the ability to have employees read every article published on the internet.
Therefore, other methods are used to quickly scan and determine quality.
There are MANY things that Google looks for in the process.
Many are obvious and many are unknown.
However, it’s a fact that articles with over 1000 words with headings rank better.
So whatever you do, do not skip this step.
Next, you’ll have to decide what to write about.
Seeing that 1000 articles is a LOT of content; you’ll be better off writing about different categories.
Pick categories you’re interested in and know about.
Don’t write about making money online if you’ve never made a single penny.
However, it’s OK to research and study a certain topic and then write an article in your own words.
The best categories to write about are popular things people search for often.
Here are a few examples:
- Diet
- Dating
- Making money
- Real Estate
- Weight-lifting
Those are just a few examples that came to mind.
There are literally thousands of different topics to choose from.
I recommend you make a list of topics you’ll write about before you do anything else.
Last, you’ll have to actually get to work and begin writing.
Now, let’s pause for a second because I have a question for you…
How many blogs are there floating around the internet with 1000 quality articles?
The answer is not many.
Why?
Because people don’t want to do the work!
People want to succeed overnight.
Well unless you’re superman and have the ability to create 1000 quality articles in 24 hours; it’s not going to happen.
But if you do put in the time and get it done; you’ll profit.
100% guaranteed.
Let’s now talk about email subscribers and why they’re vital to collect.
Email Subscribers
You’ll want to collect email subscribers for the simple fact that if you decide to sell eBooks (Discussed in the next section), you’ll want your audience to know when they’re available.
Keep in mind that people have a million things going on today.
So even if they come to your website and LOVE your article, there’s a good chance they’ll forget about you.
How many times have you read a good article and forget where you read it?
Its happened to me many times.
For this reason, you’ll want them to subscribe to your site during their first visit.
Mailchimp is the most popular email subscriber and it’s the one I use.
You can use this one or add one from the plug-in section in WordPress.
This brings me to my next point.
Besides offering your audience eBooks, you’ll also want them to know when you publish a new post.
Instead of them having to remember to come to your website, your email will work as their reminder.
Do NOT skip this step!
It’s also important to remember that people read your content on different devices.
I’ve experimented with many things and have come to the conclusion that the BEST way to collect the most email addresses is to provide the subscriber the option in different places.
For example, if you’re reading this article on a desktop/laptop, you’ll can clearly see the subscribe button to the right of your screen.
This makes it EASY for people to subscribe.
However, what happens with people reading this article on a mobile device?
They can’t see the side menu.
This results in MANY of them not subscribing even if they want to simply because they don’t see the option.
Sure, they can look for the subscriber button but the reality is that we humans are lazy by nature and won’t go through the hassle of scanning a whole website to find it.
No problem, here’s the easy fix.
Include an email subscriber option at the end of every article.
Mailchimp automatically does this for you.
This way, as soon as the reader is done with the article, they can easily enter their email and subscribe.
But wait…
What happens if someone’s reading your article and suddenly needs to close it or finish it later?
…But later becomes NEVER because they forget?
Remember what I said earlier about people having a million things going on?
No problem, I have a solution for that too.
Include a pop-up email subscriber option.
Here’s the important part and the mistake to avoid which many bloggers make.
You get to choose when this pop-up occurs for your readers.
You can decide to have it occur as soon as they begin reading the article, half-way through it, or all the way at the end.
Most people make the mistake of including it at the very beginning.
How can you ask someone for their email address if you haven’t provided them ANY value yet?
That’s like you coming to my website and me asking you to buy one of my eBooks before I give you any value.
What happens when this pop-up occurs at the very beginning?
More often than, people close it.
What you’ll want to do instead is have this pop-up occur AFTER you’ve provided a little value.
The best place, in my experience, is when the reader makes it to 50% (half-way) of the article.
If they’ve enjoyed your article thus far and felt it was valuable, there’s a HIGH chance they’ll subscribe when the pop-up occurs.
You follow me?
Give value first and then ask for their email address.
By combining these three options, you’ll dramatically INCREASE the number of subscribers.
You’ll want to make it easy for your readers to subscribe but at the same time not bombard them with constant popups.
Just one pop-up at 50%, a subscribe option on the far right menu, and at the end of each article.
Now let’s talk about what to sell on your website.
What to Sell
The first thing you’re going to want to do is include affiliate links in your articles.
These links will be for products similar to the topic discussed.
Read my article How I Make Money Daily with My Amazon Affiliate Account.
Let’s say I wanted to write an article about making money online and recommend a product.
I could recommend the book The Fastlane Millionaire and explain how it helped me.
People click the link and I make money if they buy.
If you click that link right now and buy that book on Amazon, I get paid.
It’s that simple.
By having 1000 articles which ALL include affiliate links; you can safely bet that you’ll see profit.
I personally don’t include affiliate links in every article because that’s not the goal of this blog.
Some topics I write about don’t have any products I recommend.
However, I do have many articles that contain affiliate links.
My niche sites on the other hand have affiliate links in every article.
The next thing you’re going to want to do is add Google AdSense ads to each article.
These ads earn you money when someone comes to your website and clicks one of them.
As soon as they click the ad, whether or not they buy what the ad advertises, you earn money.
Beautiful.
Now, I’m not a fan of bombarding people with ads.
In fact, I absolutely hate it.
What I recommend you do is include just two ads for each article.
One at the very top and one at the very end.
Each ad that gets clicked on your website averages you about .05 -.10 per click.
Doesn’t sound like a lot, I know.
However, what’s 60,000 visitors x .05?
$3,000!
Now, before you get excited, understand that not every person who comes to your website will click on an ad.
Some will simply read the article and leave.
Fine.
That’s not your concern.
Instead, you’re focus should be on the people who will click.
And if you have 1000 quality articles and are getting traffic for each one, you can bet that many people will click them.
If Google AdSense didn’t work, Google would have eliminated the program a long time ago.
Well guess what?
It absolutely works!
And it’s the reason why I use it in all of my niche websites.
So either take advantage or join the people who say it doesn’t work.
The last way you’ll make money on your website is by selling your own eBooks.
Writing an eBook is not as hard as you may think.
I’ve written 4 of them and am currently working on my 5th.
But they do take time, especially if you want them to be of HIGH quality.
What you can do is write one for each category on your website.
This way, you’ll have eBooks to offer your audience for the topic they were searching information on.
This is called targeted traffic and it’s what makes you sales!
Think about it for a moment…
If I come to your website, read 2-3 articles on a subject I’m seeking information for, I apply the information you teach, and get results; how likely am I to buy a book you wrote on the subject?
A perfect example is my eBook How To Make $100 Every Day On The Internet.
If you go to my Business & Money section, you’ll find many articles that are FREE and show you how to make money online.
So if the information I’m giving away for free makes you money…
What will the information I sell do for you?
Exactly.
You can’t just sell an eBook without proof that you know what the hell you’re talking about.
You need to give away content that gets results to get your audience to TRUST you.
Then, the money will begin to flow beautifully into your bank account.
Trust me.

In Closing
This strategy will result in passive income for the simple fact that your website will be content heavy.
You’ll receive a lot of traffic daily without any additional work required on your part.
Once you have 1000 articles complete, you can cut back and write just one article per month to keep your website current.
Here’s another secret: Search engines rank websites that update on the regular.
The reality is that you can probably get away for a long time without updating your website for the simple fact of the amount of quality content it’ll contain.
Yes, 1000 articles is a lot of work.
…But it isn’t hard work.
Sitting down and typing on the computer is EASY.
Sure, you might have to get up and stretch every so often. (Ha-ha)
But it’s not like you’ll be doing physical labor or any other form of back-breaking or dangerous work.
Whether you do it in a year, two years, etc.; once you get it done, it’s done!
Your website will be on the internet receiving traffic daily and people will either click your Google AdSense ads, your affiliate links, or buy one your eBooks and put money into your bank account.
If you share this article with someone and they tell you that it won’t work, I absolutely guarantee that they have NEVER had their own blog with at least 200 quality articles.
As I mentioned earlier, right now I have close to 250 articles and make sales off my own products and affiliate links constantly!
I can only imagine how things will look when I reach the 1000 article mark.
Only time will tell…
Action Steps:
1) Start your own website if you don’t have one already.
2) Decide what topics you’ll write about
3) Begin working on writing 1000 quality articles (1000 words minimum with paragraph headings)
4) Collect emails
5) Add Google AdSense ads and affiliate links in your articles
6) Create eBooks on your topics to offer your audience
7) Write me an email and say “Thank you, Alex”
Get to work!
To your success,
-Alex

The Art of Manliness website it the prefect example of this. Long articles and a ton of them.
You’re basically suggesting one site for everything that you know and can help others with. Basically a website about you more or less.
It seems that successful sites like what you suggest focus on self-improvement in some way.
You’ve given me something to think about for sure as this long-haul approach seems better than the niche stuff.
I do know this, writing what you enjoy seems to be the key to this. That’s my only fear with niche sites: not enjoying what I am writing about.
Good stuff as usual though.
Alex (Administrator) says
Niche sites are easy to setup. All you need is 5-10 articles, affiliate links, Google Adsense ads, and a product you recommend on the menu to the far right. You can complete a niche website in a couple of hours and never have to touch it again. Even if you don’t enjoy the subject you’re writing about – as long as you do your research and provide the reader quality information, you’ll succeed.
On the other hand, the method I speak of in this article is a different approch which will ultimately be far more lucrative than a niche site.
Al says
Yeah, but just imagine what you can do with 30 niche sites? I already have a list and have found 6 niches so far that fall under you research guidelines.
Between the niche sites and my current blog (need to write and ebony),I think I can accumulate some play money down the road with them all.
I truly believe that with enough niche sites and my blog, I can reach that $100 a day goal.
Alex (Administrator) says
I absolutely guarantee that 6 niche sites and a blog are more than enough to earn you $100 per day online. You won’t need 30 niche sites to earn that much. Glad to see taking this seriously, Al.

Do you still use MailChimp? I just started a new blog and want to get emails. I used MailChimp in the past and the only thing I could not figure out is how to automate it where MailChimp would send out an email everytime I published a new post. I had to manually send out that email myself.
Have they fixed this or was it already there to begin with and I just didn’t see it? I assume you have this automated in some way.
Thanks

I use the plugin “Email Subscribers”.
