How to Easily Make Money Online Giving Your Ebook Away For Free

I’ve noticed something common among up and coming entrepreneurs.

Since they’re “newbies”, they don’t think outside the box.

As a result, they miss a lot of success opportunities right in front of them.

The other day, I was emailing back and forth with one of my readers.

He’s a 20 year college guy looking to make a little side money online.

Fine.

It can be done.

…His concern?

What if he creates a product and no one buys it?

He wants to ensure people will buy, especially after he puts all his time, effort, and energy into it.

Hey man, I completely understand.

But…

The reality is that your first product probably won’t do anywhere near as good as you’d hope.

…And that’s OK.

All it means is you have a lot left to learn.

In order for people to give you their money, you’ll first need to build your credibility.

How do you do that?

You either:

       A) Create a ton of quality articles like this blog (Takes longer)

       B) Create a quality eBook and give it away for free

Now, I know you’re going to ask me: “Alex, if this is the case, why do you charge for your book?”

To which I’ll reply: “I’m no longer new online and am past the little side money phase.”

I’m at a point where I don’t need to build my credibility; my results and content speak for themselves.

However, I wrote this article specifically for people who are starting from scratch, want to build their credibility, and earn a little extra money in the process.

So let’s go over how to do all of the above.

What You Need To Do

Find a problem people are searching a solution for (Weight-loss, making money, dating advice, etc.), start a website and write articles revolving around that topic (this will get your traffic), create an eBook that includes affiliate links inside (important), and give it away for free.

Here’s the catch…

You’re eBook MUST deliver on its promises.

So if it’s based on ‘How to drop 20 lbs. in a Month‘ – whatever you teach inside better work!

If you book doesn’t generate results, there won’t be a “buzz” for it.

In other words, people won’t share it with others.

But if someone reads it and does in fact drop 20 lbs., what do you think will happen when someone asks them how they did it?

“I read this free eBook I came across and it worked…I’ll email it to you.”

You’ll want your eBook getting shared like crazy to maximize your earning potentials.

How do you earn money by giving it away for free?

By the affiliate links included inside. 

For example, let’s take my eBook, Mr. Website Builder.

If I gave it away for free, I would still earn money because people would click my affiliate links for Godaddy, Hostgator, and everything else included inside.

These are all links for things mandatory to start a website.

Godaddy and Hostgator are incredibly cheap and I don’t earn a TON of money per referral.

However, what’s happens if I have 1000 referrals? 10,000? 100,000?

…You follow me?

What?…You thought bloggers only earned the $10, $15, $20, or whatever it is they charge for their book?

No, my friend.

…And you know me, I don’t hold anything back from my readers.

I show and tell you everything I know.

An eBook has way MORE earning potential than the price on its cover. 

Pay close attention next time you read one and you’ll notice how there’s affiliate links to other books, products, etc.; included inside.

You’ll notice the links spread out throughout the book and at the end in the “Resources page”.

There’s nothing unethical about this.

Like I said, I do it in my book for things necessary to build a website.

It’s only unethical if you promote things you’re not 100% sure are of good quality.

Below is a screenshot of my book where you can see an example of my affiliate link.

As long as you create a valuable product, it’s perfectly OK to include affiliate links for things that may be necessary and/or helpful to the reader.

Mr. Website Builder is JAM-PACKED with great information and shows you everything you need to know to quickly and easily start your own website.

Therefore, if I gave it away for free, not only would I build my credibility (If I was a newbie online), but I would earn money.

What?…You thought making money online was impossible?…HAHA!

All jokes aside, listen to me…

…Trust me when I tell you this this…

MAKING MONEY ONLINE IS VERY POSSIBLE!

All you have to do is get the work done.

Create a website, write articles, write the eBook, and give it away for free.

If you write quality articles, your website will pop up in search engines and you’ll get traffic.

Period.

The more articles you have, the more traffic you’re likely to get.

The more traffic you get, the more people will download your book.

The more people download your book and click on your affiliate links, the more money you’ll make.

Are you seeing how this works?

…But first, you have to do the work!

Stop bullshitting and talking or thinking about it.

I started this blog not knowing a damn thing about websites.

I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and they didn’t teach me anything regarding blogging or making money online.

Everything I’ve learned was a result of me going into Google and searching for answers.

You want to earn money?

Again, use the Google Keyword Tool, find a problem, create a website with articles revolving around that topic, create an eBook, and give it away for free.

I promise you it’s that simple.

Any eBook you create can have affiliate links in it.

If it’s on weight-loss, include affiliate links to workout equipment, protein or diet supplements, and so on – that you’ve used, got results from, and will help the reader.

Imagine if your eBook begins to get shared by people all over the internet.

I don’t have to remind you how many people go online everyday seeking solutions to their problems, do I?

Remember, whoever gets their hands on your book, clicks on your affiliate links, and buys a product/service; generates you commission.

Read that last sentence again.

That means you could be home sleeping and someone, somewhere across the world, can stumble upon your book, follow your affiliate link, and put money in your pocket.

If that doesn’t get you excited, nothing will!

What do you think happens if you take a little extra action and submit your eBook to websites, forums, social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and it begins getting shared like crazy?

Oh and I’m not done…

…I have MORE good news!

Are you ready?…

You earn money for anything and everything people buy from traffic generated from your affiliate link.

That means if you promote a specific product and people click the link, go to Amazon, but end up buying a different product instead (happens to me often); you’ll still earn commission!

I’ve had people buy a ton of stuff that I don’t even promote!

The other day, someone bought a tub of protein for $60.

Do you understand how amazing it is to receive commission for things you don’t even promote?

It’s pretty amazing, my friend.

Nowhere on my website will you find me promoting any protein supplement.

But whether I promote protein shakes, fish tanks, Pokemon cards, or cleaning supplies; it doesn’t matter!

Whatever you buy, I’m getting paid for.

End of story.

…Am I getting you fired up yet?!

For this reason, it’s ideal to promote Amazon products since they pay commission for all sales generated.

(IMPORTANT: Amazon does NOT allow you to place their affiliate links in your eBook. What you do instead is tell you readers to follow “this link” to your website where you talk further about the product. You’re not allowed to include an affiliate link in your book, but you’re allowed to link to an article in your website where the Amazon affiliate link is included.)

Here’s an example on how to do it:

“The best protein supplement I’ve tried is (insert name here). Click here to read my review on my website.”

People click the link, land on your website, read the review, click the affiliate link, and generate you sales.

Simple.

Not all companies prevent their affiliate links from being used in an eBook.

Just make sure you read the ‘Operating Agreement’ for whichever company you promote for.

If you’re still not sure after you read, give them a call.

Listen…This does NOT take long to do.

Instead of watching TV, going out with friends, or whatever else you usually do; you can start your own website and begin making some cash as soon as traffic starts coming in.

You don’t need me to tell you how and why this works.

Anyone with common sense will quickly see why this is an effective method to earn a little side money.

It’s the reason why you’ll see MANY free eBooks floating around the internet.

But hey…all I can do is tell you it’s possible and provide you the necessary tools.

However, when it really comes down to it…

Only YOU can take action and make it happen.
